See this flash animation? It does absolutely nothing! Try to inform your target audience.

Not to sound rude, but people who want Flash and AJAX for the sake of having Flash and AJAX are not right in the head. The goal of new technologies is not to be pointlessly used. They are there to increase the quality of the user experience. Making web links that beep and fly around the screen when you press them does not help anyone.

Before you do anything with multimedia content ask yourself these questions:

1. Why do I need it?

2. Is it cost effective? (Worth $500 to ad a rotating, flashing visitor counter on my site)

3. Will it make the user happy?

4. Will it improve sales? How do you know?

5. Do at three other people agree with adding it?

6. Is one of those three people a regular site visitor?

7. Was this your nephew's idea?

If you answered no to all but the last one and still want a Flash landing page on your site... call me, and I will tell you why you don't need one. If you still want one, I will make it for you.
